Decadia

The short version

Decadia has no accounts and no analytics. Your streak, your scores and your per-decade stats are stored on your device and are never sent to us. We do not operate a server, and we could not read your results if we wanted to. Nothing here tracks what you play.

There are two exceptions, and both are described in full below. Advertising: if you see an ad, Google receives data in order to serve it — Decadia Premium removes ads entirely. Crash reports: if the app crashes or freezes, a diagnostic report is sent to Sentry so we can fix it. It contains no screenshot, no identifier and nothing about how you played.

What stays on your device

All of it lives in the app’s own storage on your iPhone. Deleting the app deletes it. There is no copy anywhere else.

The questions

The whole question bank ships inside the app. Playing the Daily Rewind requires no network connection and sends nothing anywhere. Question updates arrive as an ordinary app update or a file download; neither carries anything about you.

Advertising

Decadia shows at most one ad per session, after your results, and never during a round. Ads are served by Google AdMob, which collects data to deliver and measure them. Google’s handling of that data is described in its own privacy policy.

We require any third party whose code we ship to protect your data to at least the standard described here. Google and Sentry are the only two.

Crash reports

If Decadia crashes or freezes, it sends a diagnostic report to Sentry so the fault can be found and fixed. Sentry’s handling of that data is described in its own privacy policy.

A report describes the failure and the device, not you:

Crash reporting cannot be switched off separately, because a report is only ever produced when the app has already failed. If that matters to you, it is the one place in this policy where the honest answer is that the app is telling us it broke.

Game Center

Leaderboards and achievements are provided by Apple’s Game Center. When you finish a Rewind, Decadia submits your score and streak to Apple. We never read, store or share your Game Center identity — not your player ID, not your alias. Signing in is entirely optional and declining does not limit the game in any way.

Purchases

Decadia Premium is sold through Apple. Payment is handled entirely by Apple and we never see your payment details. The app only learns whether a valid purchase exists.

Children

Decadia is a general-audience trivia game and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your data, and removing it

Because everything the app records stays on your device, there is no account to close and nothing for us to delete. Deleting Decadia removes all of it. To reset advertising personalisation, use Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking on your iPhone. Game Center data is held by Apple and can be managed through your Apple Account.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what is collected, the date at the top will change and the app will be updated to link to the revised version.
